5 Golden Safety Rules in High-Voltage Sites
- Complete De-energization: Physical disconnection of the section to be worked on from all power sources.
- Lockout/Tagout (LOTO): Securing disconnectors and circuit breakers with padlocks and warning signs.
- Verification of Zero Voltage: Testing with calibrated high-voltage sticks and detectors.
- Grounding and Short-Circuiting: Grounding the phases using portable grounding equipment.
- Demarcation and Isolation: Enclosing the work area with safety tape and warning signs.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Continuous Training
All of our field personnel are equipped with arc flash protective clothing, dielectric insulated boots, high-voltage gloves, and helmets. Under the coordination of our Class A OHS Chief Expert Sadık Önder, all personnel receive regular training on working at heights, confined spaces, and electrical first aid.
